Hello everyone. Yes I am still here although I have not posted since October. I am so incredibly sorry to those who have checked my blog in the hope of some new content in the past couple of months. I have been gone, but I am back. I’d like to explain – There’s been a couple obstacles in my way, why I haven’t been posting blogs and uploading videos and they’re all mainly my fault.
Firstly, I have horrendous time management, which is also probably linked to my preposterous sleeping pattern. I’m writing this post at 03:43am, so there’s some insight. This is something I really want to improve on in 2017. I want to drink more water, get a better sleep, and use every day as productively as I can. 2016 made me realise I end up deeply disappointed in myself when I’m lying in bed at 10pm not having done what I set out to do that day because I procrastinated. I have a huge procrastination problem. There I said it. The first step to recovery is always acceptance, or so they say.
I also want to dramatically improve the quality of my content over all my social media as drastically as my technological talents will let me. I’m actually quite proud of how good I am with computers and editing but there is always room for improvement and I want to learn as much as I can about this side of my Blog and my YouTube.
2016 has been an interesting year for me. The first couple of months weren’t great , I was trying to hold on to my life exactly the way it was and I was reluctant and scared of change. I learned that it’s important to realise that everyone who comes into your life is not meant to stay there forever, you meet different people for different reasons, and you learn something valuable from everyone you meet in your life. Things don’t always work out the way you want them too or the way you think they should. It’s important to be faced with challenges. It proves to yourself that you are actually stronger than you thought you were and you can handle more than you thought you could. And that’s all I wanna say about that.
I want to upload weekly videos and post weekly blogs throughout the whole year of 2017. I know I sound crazy, that this is my gol although I’m already in full time college and have a part-time job at the weekends, but it’s something I want to do for myself, and I’m going to do it.
A couple nights ago I sat down and wrote a list of each video and blog post I was going to do every week for the next since months. This gives me lots of time to prepare each video and blog post so that I can easily film them or write them up the week before I want to post/upload them. I’m going to stay organised and on top of everything so that I don’t get stuck oe week for a video idea or blog posts topic. At times, I randomly find myself daydreaming about certain videos I could make or I have little blog post ideas floating around my head, I’m going to add them to that list and when I feel bored, or unmotivated or uninspired I’m going to try to develop them slightly to get me into gear. I don’t know if this is the recipe to success or even if there is a recipe for success but I’m going to try it and I’m going to give it my best shot.
I wanted to keep this blog post very brief, as I’m going to direct you over to my YouTube Channel – I’m Back | Mollerina , where I have a more indepth review of 2016 and elaborate on my goals for 2017. Feel free to watch it and if you liked it, please don’t forget to give it a thumbs up. x
