Hey guys! So I thought I’d do a blog post showing which products I used to create the look that SoSueMe shared on her Instagram for her products SoSu. For this look I used the SoSu Complete Contour Kit as all of my face, I concealed my eyelids and under my eyes with it, used it as foundation and then used it to contour and highlight as well as powder. I’m always getting asked how I get my skin to look so glowy and dewy and it’s shade 5 from the palette, an absolutely gorgeous sheer but pigmented natural champagney colour, but not fake looking you get with powder highlighters.
So first I used my Inglot palette to work up transition shades in my crease and to darken up the outside and inside corners of my eyes. I know this palette isn’t full yet (I’m broke) but it’s so tailored to me and I’m so excited for how beautiful it is going to look when it’s all filled up.
First I took a small bit of Inglot Shade 54 just above my crease with a large fluffy blending brush as a transition shade. Doing this makes all the other colours I use to darken up the crease blend together more easily and it also makes the gradient from dark to light up to the brow bone more seamless.
After I took a smaller fluffy brush and worked up some 329 right into the crease (lower than the first two colours).
Then I moved onto the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette for a while.
Here I used a flat shader brush and the colour YDK and patted it onto just the very center of my lid, not the corners.
Using a small brush I started to build up the Inglot shade 308 on the outer and inner corners to create the spotlight effect to the center of the eyes.
I then used shade 46 to brighten up under my brow bone.
I used Max Factor Wild Mega Mascara and lined my lash line using Essence Gel eyeliner with an angled brush.
For my base I used Shade 4 from the SoSu Complete Contour Palette around the outer of my face and over my nose, blended out with the Real Techniques Sponge. Then on the center parts of my face ( a triangle under my eyes, center of forehead, down the tip of my nose, over my lips) I used shade 1 to brighten those areas up and conceal.
I took Shade 2 on a small flat foundation brush and sculpted out my cheekbones, temples, and jawline.
I used Shade 5 to get that glow ✨
And that’s it for the completed look!
I hope you all liked this and that it was easy to follow! I’m so excited to do more things with my blog over summer so any ideas or requests of anything you’d like to see don’t hesitate to ask me!
I’ll leave all my social media links below so we can stalk each other ❤
